Megaprojects and the endless Galactic Encyclopedia
Three massive megaprojects await you, each once per account and paid from your colonies: the space lift makes the teleporter energy-free and allows standing orders, the dyson ring brings +25% energy on all planets, and the galactic archive grants you a second research slot with a queue. Whoever owns it unlocks the Galactic Encyclopedia: endless research with no maximum level, each level raising gold, food, water and steel in all your cities by 1% – and each level costs 25% more than the last.

Explore and colonise planets
Unknown planets wait between the stations. Send at least 500 espionage probes to uncover their three secrets: size, type and vegetation. Size sets your colony's building slots, type grants a strong bonus – such as +30% build speed –, and vegetation decides how much water and food your inhabitants consume. Once you know all three, you build a colony ship: it carries 3,000 inhabitants from one of your cities to the planet, the flight takes more than a day, and whoever arrives first claims it. On the planet, your own building line awaits – from the habitat dome to the transmutation refinery that turns Mars ore into gold or steel at no cost.

Early Warning Radar: see what is coming
You have always seen an approaching attack right away – but not what is actually coming. The new early warning radar changes that: at level 1 it shows a rough troop count, from level 5 the dominant troop class, from level 10 the troops per class, from level 15 the exact units and at level 20 even how strong the attacker is compared to your defense. The information appears with approaching attacks, in the empire overview, in the war room – there for your allies too – and right in the push notification.

New defense: the Artillery Position
The artillery position shells every attack on your city before the battle starts: up to 20% of the attackers fall beforehand – attacks become more expensive even when they succeed. You will find it in the Buildings tab under Security and in the Defense tab. The early warning radar comes next and shows you what is heading for your city.

New defenses: Vault and Militia
Until now there was mainly one kind of defense on Earth: more walls, more barriers. Now buildings join that do something completely different. The vault protects a fixed amount of gold from every raid – up to 100,000 gold. The militia depot lets part of your residents help defend in an attack, making big cities much harder to crack – but those who fight can fall, so you can switch the militia on and off. You will find both in the Buildings tab under Security and as an overview in the Defense tab.

Taxes doubled and a new building: the Tax Office
Having residents used to barely pay off: taxes were only a small part of your income. We are changing that. From now on your citizens pay twice as much tax – 1 gold per 5 residents instead of per 10. On top of that there is a new building: the Tax Office (from town hall 10 and residential building 8) raises tax income by 5% per level, a full 100% at level 20, for only 5 gold upkeep per level. You can also now see what your residents are really worth: every residential building shows how much gold the extra residents of a level bring, and the Economy tab shows what each resident earns you per hour – taxes and trade combined.

Empire Overview: all your cities on one page
Anyone running several cities previously had to click through each one to see where a build queue was free or which city was slipping into the red. The new Empire Overview brings it all together on a single page: economy and stockpiles of every city, free building, defense and training queues, your total army by class, every unit currently on the move, running research, rewards ready to claim and your own auctions. Everything is linked and takes you straight to the right city and the right tab. The overview is a Premium feature - it only shows and links, so it grants no gameplay advantage, it saves clicks.

Defensive structures and troops overhauled
Defensive structures now have their own build queue: two orders at a time, independent of the regular building queue. A single order may cover any number of levels at once - you simply type in a number. They are now paid for mostly in gold with only a share of steel, and the price stays the same at every level instead of rising with each one. For troops, the headcount caps are gone entirely: you can train as many of each unit as you can pay for. In exchange, every unit costs food on top of gold, plus a few citizens who are pulled out of the city to become soldiers and grow back normally afterwards. A new cost table in the unit help shows exactly what each unit really costs.

Sternenfall: Meteor Rock, Event Shop and Leaderboard
The Sternenfall event just got three new ways to earn rewards: every meteor you attack - win or lose - now earns you meteor rock. Trade it in the new event shop on the Sternenfall page for build speedups, gold, steel, or a random piece of Paladin equipment. On top of that, every Sternenfall event now ends with a leaderboard: the best player (most meteors won) is guaranteed a Paladin equipment piece, and the top 10 overall have an increased chance at one too.

New help pages: alliances, diplomacy and combat fully explained
Three new, detailed help pages have been added to our help center: how does the alliance treasury work, what does a non-aggression pact actually mean, and what determines your troops' combat power? All numbers are calculated live from the game, so they're always up to date.

3-day protection for new players
Newly registered players are now protected from attacks and espionage for 3 days, giving them enough time to build up their first city and learn the game mechanics. Attacking or spying on someone yourself ends the protection immediately – a deliberate trade-off, not an oversight.

Alliance treasury, interest-bearing alliance bank, and Discord login
Alliances can now run a shared treasury and deposit gold in an alliance bank that pays interest. Also new: logging in via Discord, in addition to Google and Facebook.
